Science Hill project adds 13,000 square feet to existing facility and 10 new jobs
Camtech Manufacturing Solutions, a leader in industrial manufacturing and engineering, has announced plans for a $2.925 million facility expansion in Science Hill that will add 13,000 square feet to its current footprint and create 10 new jobs.
The company recently received preliminary approval from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) for incentives supporting the project. The expansion will increase Camtech’s production capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and enable the integration of new equipment to support advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Camtech President and Owner Chris Daniels said the expansion reinforces the company’s mission and reflects his deep connection to the community.
“We believe in the future of American manufacturing, and our core mission is to ensure our partners can compete and win on a global scale,” Daniels said. “We do that by developing high-tech robotic solutions that increase their efficiency, making it possible to not only keep jobs here in the U.S. but to actively bring them back. This expansion is a direct investment in that mission. It allows us to advance our capabilities and scale up our solutions for the major industries we serve.”
As a 25-year resident of Science Hill, Daniels said this announcement is also personal.
“There is no better place to grow, and no better people to grow with,” Daniels said. “Our success is built on the back of our incredible workforce — their skill and dedication are what truly set us apart and are the heart of this company. We’re proud that our work, which already has a national and international reach, brings major industry leaders right here to our community. We are putting Pulaski County on the map as a hub for advanced manufacturing, and we’re just getting started.”
Science Hill Mayor Mike Hall said Camtech’s expansion is a testament to the strength of local industry and the community’s support for business growth.
“Camtech Manufacturing Solutions has been a cornerstone of our industrial base here in Science Hill,” Hall said. “Their decision to expand right here at home is a reflection of the skilled workforce, strong partnerships, and business-friendly environment we’re proud to offer. We’re excited to see this next chapter of growth and the new opportunities it brings for our residents.”
SPEDA President & CEO Chris Girdler praised Daniels for his leadership and continued investment in the region.
“Chris Daniels is one of the hardest workers in Pulaski County and I admire his entrepreneurial spirit,” Girdler said. “We are thankful for his continued investment in Pulaski County and anticipate many more years of great work taking place. This expansion is just another chapter in the Camtech book of success that is being written.”
Pulaski County Judge-Executive Marshall Todd said the project represents a significant milestone for both the company and the community.
“Pulaski County is proud to stand behind Camtech Manufacturing Solutions as they take this exciting next step in their growth,” Todd said. “Camtech’s expansion represents more than new walls and workstations — it’s a sign of confidence in our community, our workforce, and the future of manufacturing right here in Pulaski County. With this $2.9 million investment and the addition of 10 new jobs, Camtech continues to show what’s possible when innovation and craftsmanship come together. Their team has built a reputation for excellence in design, fabrication, and custom manufacturing solutions that reach far beyond our county lines, and we’re proud to call them one of our own. This growth not only strengthens our local economy but also reinforces Pulaski County’s tradition of supporting homegrown businesses that create opportunity, inspire progress, and give back to the community. We congratulate the Camtech team on their continued success and look forward to the many ways their expansion will benefit Pulaski County for years to come.”
