Panel gives local industry leaders a chance to ask questions, share issues they face
Representatives of 19 different companies in Somerset-Pulaski County were able to hear first-hand from state elected officials Dec. 8 during our Industrial Leaders Breakfast series at Somerset Community College.
We’re incredibly grateful to the panel of House and Senate leaders representing the Lake Cumberland region for taking the time to share their legislative goals and take questions from the audience. The panel included State Sen. Rick Girdler, House Speaker Pro Tempore Rep. David Meade, and Reps. Shane Baker, Josh Branscum, Josh Bray and Ken Upchurch.
These leaders shared their passion for policy that protects Kentucky children and families, and discussed workforce challenges that companies across the state are facing.
